Olin Johnson Crosby, Sr., affectionately known by all as "O.J.", of Round O, entered into his eternal rest on the morning of May 4, 2011. He was the husband of Mrs. Bobbie Ann Stanfield Crosby.

Mr. Crosby was born August 18, 1935, in Round O, and was a son of the late George Wesley Crosby and the late Hazel Ruby Hiott Crosby.

He served his country faithfully as a Private in the South Carolina National Guard and was honorably discharged in 1954.

O.J. was then employed with Asten Hill Manufacturing in Walterboro where he retired after thirty-seven and a half years of dedicated service as a supervisor having worked with calendar operations.

He was a master mason holding his life membership at Bethlehem Lodge No. 381, Ancient Free Masons. Mr. Crosby was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church, where he was a member of the Deacon Board, head of the Men's Ministry, and was devoted to helping in the food pantry ministry.

An avid outdoors man, he will be fondly remembered for his love of hunting large game American Whitetail deer and wild turkey and the love for working in his garden, always eager to share his harvest with friends, family and neighbors. All of the Walterboro community will remember him being an avid entertainer each morning on the "Swap Shop" radio show of Wally 93.7FM.
