Frank Raymond Buckley, 63, of Burlington, died at 11:15 AM Monday, May 2, 2011, at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.
Born April 25, 1948, in Rock Island, IL, he was the son of Frank Michael and Wanettia Lucille Reynolds Buckley.
Frank was a fork lift driver for RDL Pipeline in EL Reno, Oklahoma.
He belonged to Bible Baptist Church in El Reno, OK. He enjoyed fishing, sitting by the river, John Wayne and especially women.
Survivors include two sons, Christopher Buckley of Minco, OK, and Howard Buckley of Burlington; two daughters, June York of Olsburg, KS, and Frances (William) Fye of Burlington; one step-daughter, Ranee Perkins of El Reno, OK; eight grandchildren; five brothers, Joseph Evole of Burlington, David Green of MO, Ivo of MN, Howard Chestnutt of AZ, Vernon Chestnutt of OK; nine sisters, Marie Taylor of CA, Mavis Mickie of Gulfport, IL, Evelyn Patton of Burlington, Lela Osborn of Burlington, Wanettia Chestnutt of CA, Zula Roberts of Quincy, IL, Christene of IA, Joyce Rice, Chrystal Ylautpa of Silver Bay, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM with the family to receive friends from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM Friday, May 6, 2011 at Hass-Thielen Funeral Home.
The funeral service for Mr. Buckley will be 10:00 AM Friday, May 6, 2011, at Hass-Thielen Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. David A. Lee and Rev. Valerie A. Lee officiating.
