Louella Pierce of Santa Anna, Texas at the age of 88 passed from this life on Friday, May 25, 2018 at Abilene Regional Medical Center.
Services will be Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 10:00 am at Gouldbusk Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Kathy Monroe officiating. Interment will follow with services under the direction of Henderson Funeral Home of Santa Anna. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 7:00 till 8:00 pm at Henderson Funeral Home.
She was born Frances Louella Boyd on May 26, 1929 in Leaday, Texas to M L and Lara Lay Boyd. Louella was raised in Leaday and graduated from Mozella High School. On July 16, 1955 Louella married A .C. Pierce in Hobart, Oklahoma and they celebrated forty six years of marriage. A. C. preceded her in death in 2003. She was a lifetime resident of Coleman County and a member of the Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing games with her family and friends especially dominoes and was a homemaker, gardener and hunter.
