Lois (Mrs. Carroll) Berney died Easter Sunday at a hospital in Columbia, Missouri of a viral lung infection. She was a 1946 graduate of Wolbach High School.

Wolbach Native Dies in Missouri-
Lois L. Berney, 68, Clifton Hill, Missouri died Sunday, April 7, at University Medical Center Hospital in Columbia, Missouri following a brief illness. The remains were cremated.
Mrs. Berney was born February 28, 1928, to Archie and Carrie Hanson Nelson in Wolbach. She retired from AECI and was a member of the Methodist faith.
She married Carroll L. Berney on June 3, 1947 in Grand Island. They moved to the Clifton Hill area 16 years ago.
Survivors include her husband, Carroll, of Clifton Hill, Missouri; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ray and Diane Berney of Scottsdale, Arizona and Dr. Rex and Karen Berney of Dayton, Ohio; three sisters, Lorraine Madison of Los Angeles, California, Audrey Patton of San Diego, California, and Ardyce Gross of Norfolk.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Reed Nelson.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Ronald McDonald house, 1001 Stadium Blvd., Columbia, MO 65201.
