Julia Kathleen Atteberry Wolfe, 86, died Monday, May 2, 2011, at Trinity Manor, Dodge City.
She was born April 26, 1925, to James Miner and Hazel (Lippincott) Kent at Red Cloud, Neb. She married Glenn "Buck" Atteberry on Nov. 28, 1944, at Lusk, Wyo. He preceded her in death on Jan. 9, 1990. She married Hank Wolfe on July 9, 1991, in Dodge City. He preceded her in death on Jan. 9, 2004.
She was the secretary/bookkeeper for the electric company in Coldwater and later in Dodge City. She also worked at Smoll & Banning and Terry Rabe Accounting.
She is survived by one daughter, Deborah Flowers and husband, Melvin, of Dodge City; four older sisters, Evelyn McMahon of Hastings, Neb., Ardys Miksch of Red Cloud, Neb., Marjorie Nowack of Ozark, Mo., and Mildred Peterson of Chandler, Ariz.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents.
Service Information: A memorial service is at 10:30 a.m., Saturday at the First Christian Church in Dodge City. After the memorial service, the family will greet friends from 2 to 3 p.m. at Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home in Coldwater, followed by a graveside service at Crown Hill Cemetery in Coldwater.
Memorials are suggested to the Trinity Association of Southwest Kansas or Hospice of the Prairie in care of the funeral home.
