Anita Louise Monson Bowen, 56, passed away on April 30, 2011.

Born March 26, 1955 in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of Ephraim V. and Mildred Nelson Monson. Married John Henry Bowen on January 23, 1976 in the Salt Lake Temple.

She loved arts, crafts, and gardening and inspired her children to love these things of beauty. She was always generous with sharing her talents with everyone.

Survived by husband; children: Tracy, Tiffany, and Amanda (Jeff) Shaw; grandchildren: Clara, Zakary, Hannah, and Grayson.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 6, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Oquirrh First Ward Chapel, 5208 West Cyclamen Way. Viewings will be held on Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road (1700 West), and Friday at the Church from 9:00-9:45 a.m.
Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates.
