Kendra Ann Brown, age 20, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011 in Binford, ND.

Kendra was born on March 18, 1991 in Portland, OR to parents, Michael and Terri (Byrnes) Brown. She was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Binford. She attended Midkota Schools and Goodland High School, graduating in 2009. Kendra was a CNA at the Sherman County Good Samaritan in Goodland, KS before returning to ND, and most recently at the Cooperstown Medical Center – Nursing Home in Cooperstown, ND. Kendra took great pride in her work, and the residents at both facilities were very dear to her.

Kendra loved playing basketball & softball, listening to music, driving around, camping, giving Hoser a hard time, and hanging out with her many friends.

Kendra will be missed and remembered by her parents, Michael & Terri Brown, brothers, Michael Jr. & Jeremy, sister, Lynelle (Chad) Donohue, maternal grandfather, James Byrnes, paternal grandparents, Lillian & Albert Brown, niece, Hailey Donohue & Godmother, Janie Taylor.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Dee Ann Byrnes.

Memorial services for Kendra will be held on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 1:00 PM, in the Midkota Elementary School, Binford, ND. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Officiating will be Reverend Jessica Merchant. Honorary Bearers will be Lannes Edlund, Mark Willows, Sheldon Harding, Kyle Steffen, Blaine Duval, Chad Eichelberger, Chad Donohue, Levi Willows, Tyler Edlund, "Buddy" Dave Byrnes, Ben Taylor, Jacob Westphal and Michael Ruiz. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention or FirstLink.
