She was born in Moodus, March 24, 1914, daughter of the late Eugene and Gertrude (Lyman) Barbour and had resided in East Hampton for many years.
Before her retirement she was employed by the former Gong Bell Mfg. Co., East Hampton. Alice will be remembered by her family and friends for her love of baking.
She is survived by two sons, Richard A. McKinney of East Hampton, Roger G. McKinney of Moores Forks, NY; two daughters, Gloria D. VanBlaricom of East Hampton, Beverly A. Mays of Middletown; six grandchildren, Gene VanBlaricom, Timmy VanBlaricom, Jeffrey Mays, Brian Mays, Sheila McKinney and Scott McKinney; four great-grandchildren, T.J., Travis, Todd and Trevor; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Rite took place at Spencer Funeral Home, East Hampton, on Monday. The Reverend Mark Given, Vicar of Christ Episcopal Church, Middle Haddam will officiate.
Burial followed in Lakeview Cemetery, East Hampton.
