Motion Picture Director, Author. He was a writer of popular westerns. Among his films as writer: "Seven Men From Now" (1956), "The Tall T" (1957), "Ride Lonesome" (1959), and "Comanche Station" (1960). He directed "Support Your Local Sheriff!" (1967) and "The Money Trap`" (1965), among other popular films. He also served in World War II.
