Lawrence R. "Larry" Brumley, 61, of Jacksonville died Friday, Nov. 1, 2002, at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville. He was born Nov. 5, 1940, in Naples, the son of Woodrow Swisher and Imogene Gregory. Mr. Brumley was a self-employed painting contractor and later worked for J.B. Large and Son. Survivors: mother, Imogene Gregory Garrison of Jacksonville; a son, Larry R. "Boomer" Brumley of Jacksonville; one daughter, Cindy (husband, Jeff) Flynn of Jacksonville; five grandchildren; and a half sister, Beverly Wood of Jacksonville. Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Williamson Funeral Home, Jacksonville. Burial: Diamond Grove Cemetery, Jacksonville.
