Mediapolis (IA) -- Mrs. Addie (sic) E. Byerly, 80, Mediapolis, died at 1:40 a.m. Sunday, November 3, at Morning Sun Manor nursing home.

She was born August 26, 1894, at Taylor Ridge, Illinois, the daughter of Joseph and Anna Cline Street. She married Roy Byerly February 28, 1917, at Yarmouth. A housewife, she was a member of the United Methodist church.

Surviving: Three sons, Everett, Mt. Pleasant, Dale, Ainsworth, and Dwight, Mediapolis; two sisters, Mrs. Eunice Murphy, Mt. Pleasant, and Mrs. Gladys DeYarman, Winfield; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral: Tuesday, 2 p.m., Mediapolis United Methodist church, Reverend Delbert Terry; Memorial Park cemetery, Burlington. A memorial has been established. Body is at Fry Chapel here.
