George O. Baker, 93, died at Dunn Memorial Hospital.
He was born December 9, 1895 in Martin County, the son of Ed and Mary Todd Baker. He married Pearl May Evans on September 1, 1923 and she survives.
Surviving are two sons, Marshall Baker and Opal Baker; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Wigner, Mrs. Melphia Morris, Mrs. Sylivia Pritchett; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Oval, and Claude Baker; one sister, Minnie Harp and two daughters, Anna Jane Hall and Melvina Ruth (in infancy)Funeral Services will be Tuesday at Day & Carter Mortuary and burial will follow in Springville Christain Cemetery.
