WILLIAM J. MINNICH

After a lingering illness, WILLIAM J. MINNICH passed away last Friday afternoon May 28 at his home on West Street, at the age of 74 years. He was born at this place, a son of JOHN and EMERENE (Agnew) MINNICH. He was a carpenter and builder and as such was widely known in this section, continuing in the business from early youth until 1921.

Surviving are his wife, who was Ella FETTER, and two sons, John N. of Bedford and Dr. William C. of Philadelphia; also a brother, Alonza. who is now ill at his home in Bedford, and three sisters, Mrs. G. D. ROSE, and Miss Mary MINNICH, both of California, and Mrs. Kate DEAL of Seattle, Washington.

Funeral services, together with his pastor Sunday afternoon, the Bedford K. of P., which he was a member many years, having charge of the services, together with his pastor Rev. H. L. Saul.

Interment was made in the cemetery at his place. Mr. MINNICH was actively interested in Republican polictics and during the administration President Taft, served as postmaster of Bedford. In his death, Bedford looses a good citizen.
