Esther Emma VERMILLION 93, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, October 17, 1993 in her residence. Esther was born December 30, 1899, the daughter of Leonard and Margaret (KEIL) ELFNER. She was a member of St John's Lutheran Church and the willing Workers Mother Club of St John's. Esther was preceded in death by her husband, John in 1953 ; son, Lewis in 1983 ; brothers and sisters. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn and John Robert MORGAN of Springfield ; six grandchildren ; three great-grandsons ; sisters, Rose GORDON and Margaret HOOK of Springfield. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Wednesday, October 20, 1993 in the Jackson Lytle & Ingling Williams Funeral Home, North Limestone Chapel, with Reverend Walter B Stitt officiating. Internment in Ferncliff Cemetery . Friends may call from 5-8 Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St John's Lutheran Church in Esther's memory
