BALDWIN - Yola G. Baldwin, 247 South 2nd, Cottage Grove died at her home Wednesday, February 1, 1961 at the age of 66. She was born in Coupeville, Washington November 30, 1894 and was married in Seattle December 23, 1918 to L. Ernest Baldwin who survives her. They came to the Cottage Grove area from Winlock, Washington in 1922. Mrs. Baldwin was a member of the Christian Science Church. She had taught in the Primary schools in the Cottage Grove area for some 25 years, retiring in 1959. Surviving her besides her husband are 4 children: Lee Baldwin of Burns; Miss Lois Baldwin, Seattle; Mrs. Joyce Jones, Cottage Grove; Mrs. Pat Chellin, Seattle; 13 grandchildren; 3 brothers and 3 sisters: Lawrence and C. O. Barrett of Coupeville, Washington; Fred Barrett of Los Angeles; Mrs. Gladys Reeves, Everett, Washington; Mrs. Vivian O'Halloran, Seattle; Mrs. Alberta Bennett, Langley, Washington and several Nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Mills Mortuary in Cottage Grove, Saturday, February 4, 1961 at 10 a.m. Mrs. Antoinette Marden will officiate with interment in Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene. The family requests that those who wish to contribute to the Crippled Children's School may leave donations at the Mortuary in lieu of flowers.
