Funeral services for Mrs. Wardie C. Willis, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 25, 2011 in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, with Dr. Joe Sharp and Reverend Jonathan Pyles officiating. Interment will be in Restland Memorial Gardens, Pollock, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Mrs. Willis, age 86, of Lecompte, entered eternal rest on February 23, 2011 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria. She was a native of Lecompte, were she spent most of her life helping her late husband on a farm. She was a self taught artist, with some of her work being shown in a Studio in New Orleans. She was a Business College graduate.
She is survived by five children; nine grandchildren; great grandchildren.
