Belleview - Jack R. Boerstler, 70, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2007 at Shands at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Born in Columbia, OH, he moved to Marion County in 1949. He graduated from Lake Weir High School in 1956. He was an active member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Belleview. He worked at a wire bound crate manufacturer before retiring In 2003. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He Is survived by his wife of 48 years, Anna Boerstler of Belleview 2 sons Robert Boerstler of Thorton, CO, and David Boerstler of Anderson, IN: daughter Carol A. Grell of Arvada, CO; 8 grandchildren; 2 brothers Deacon Jim Boerstler of Ocala and Bill Boerstler of Palatka; and 2 sisters Roberta Sheffield and Jeanette Downs of Ocklawaha. A funeral mass will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at St- Theresa Catholic Church, 11528 SE Hwy 301, with Father David Vivero officiating. A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Friday, October 19, 2007 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services - Belleview, 5946 SE Robinson Road, with a wake service to begin at 7 PM.
