Mrs. Edward Kiefer
Mrs. Lizzie Catherine Kiefer, wife of Edward Kiefer, died at 3:22 o'clock this morning at her home, 1130 Northampton Street, after an illness of two and a half weeks. She was born in Belvidere corners, Upper Mt. Bethel, and resided there and in Bangor until she came to Easton about 32 years ago. She was a daughter of the late Elias and Caroline Smith Kiefer and was the last surviving member of her family.

She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Mrs. Robert S. Cawley and one grandson, Foster K. Shook, both of Easton. Mrs. Kiefer was a member of the Evangelical Church at Bangor and also of William Parsons Chapter, No. 185, Order of Eastern Star and Siloam Shrine, No. 13, White Shrine of Jerusalem.

(Note: In the above obituary the surviving daughter named as Mrs. Robert S. "Cawley" was actually Mrs. Robert S. "Pauley".)
