Clifford James Shipp, 78, of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully with loved one's present April 22, 2011. He was born March 2, 1933, in Glasgow, Montana and very proudly raised on a farm. He served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years during the Korean conflict. He then attended College majoring to be an electrician. His aptitude and drive led him to Las Vegas to work at the Nevada Test Site as an electrician for over 30 years from which he retired. His down home roots always remained in many ways, he was hardworking (even in retirement, he had his own "Vegas farm", gentle, kind, wise and so very generous with his wisdom. There was still so much to be Learned from him, his insight and clarity will be dearly missed by all he knew. He was preceded in death by his Father, Oliver James Shipp and Mother, Mary. Two brothers Donald Oliver, and Jerald Arlo and a sister Helen Marie.
He is survived by his wife Helen Shipp sons Douglas Shipp , Darel A. Behunin , David Behunin, daughter Mila Andersen , sister Lorraine Huntchin, and brother Lyle Shipp. Eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather we will insure your legacy lives on in our souls. Grandpa I have so much peace knowing we are good with God, love you forever.
