DIED: Harriet E. (Wells) Clemmer was born in Miami County, Ohio, December 25, 1843. She was the daughter of William Preston and Almyra Wells and moved with them to Kosciusko County Indiana in the autumn of 1849. She was united in marriage to Peter Clemmer October 24, 1869 and with him resided on their farm one mile west of Sidney until the time of her death, which occurred October 14, 1890. She was 46 years, nine months and 19 days of age, and leaves her husband, son, one brother, and four sisters. Interment was in the Packerton cemetery.
