Annie Pearl Barker was born Dec. 19, 1939, to the late James and Mary Watts of Lancaster, S.C. She married Vivian V. Barker, Jr. on Dec. 19, 1959. He is the son of the late Rev. Vivian V. Barker, former Pastor of Gospel Temple Freewill Baptist Church in Panama City, Fla. Ann was a member of Gospel Temple Freewill Baptist Church, where she regularly attended and served until she became ill.
Home going services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at Macedonia Baptist Church, 715 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Panama City, Fla. Public visitation is from 1-8 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will receive friends and relatives from 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 2, 2011, at the Battle Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery
