Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Follett High School Auditorium with the Rev. Ron Martin and the Rev. Gary Kerr officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery by Mason Funeral Home.
Mr. Methvin was an ordained minister and was called to the ministry at a young age.
Survivors include his wife, Marlese of Katy; a daughter, Brooke Methvin of Katy; his parents, Rev. Merritt "Doc" Methvin and wife, Juanita of Follett; two brothers, Barry Methvin of Rockdale and Ron Methvin of Guymon.
The family suggests memorials be to Apostolic Bible College, P.O. Box 110, Baxter Springs, KS 76567.
