LOYD 'ED' STONE
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. July 8, 1994, in Hillside Chapel.
Mr. Stone was born Dec. 10, 1928, in Newberg. He died of a stroke July 3, 1994. He was 65.
Mr. Stone was a Lincoln County sheriff's deputy for 19 years. After retiring in 1971, he went to work in quality control at Fred's R.V. World. Mr. Stone also was a special deputy for Clackamas County at the time of his death.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War, and a member of Hope Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Barbara; daughter, Linda Lee Miller of Milwaukie; sons, Cory Dean of Vancouver, Wash., and Rick Lee of Portland; stepsons, Fred McNally Jr. of Milwaukie and Larry Dean McNally of Portland; brother, Robert of Joseph; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Internment in Mt. Viewm Cemetery Mausoleum.
Rememberances: American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
