His funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at North Brook Baptist Church with Pastor Ray Pennell officiating. His body will lie in state for 30 minutes prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Monday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Schronce was born November 24, 1941 in Lincoln County to the late Andrew Franklin and Margaret Hoover Schronce, Sr.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one stepson, David Hayes.
He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam War. Mr. Schronce was retired from Century Furniture where he worked as a long distance truck driver.
Survivors include his wife Rlee Hayes Schronce of the home; three sons, Robert Schronce and wife Tracy of Lincolnton, Tracy Mosteller and wife Carie of Vale, Scott Mosteller and wife Wendy of Vale; two stepsons, Jeff Hayes of Newton and Tim Hayes and wife Leah of Newton; one bother, Mitchell Schronce of Vale; twelve grandchildren, Taylor Schronce, Harley Schronce, Heather Schronce, Haigen Mosteller, London Mosteller, Staci Mosteller, Jonathan Mosteller, Shane Hartman, Andrew Mosteller, Aaron Mosteller, Cooper Hayes, Michelle Hayes; two great-grandchildren, Aspen Hayes, Julius Lane.
