WILLIAM SMITH CALLED BY DEATH
LOCAL RESIDENT EXPIRES AT DAUGHTER'S
HOME THURSDAY MORNING
William P. Smith, for many years a resident of this city, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ben Conkwright, 511 Allen street, Thursday morning at eleven o'clock. Mr. Smith was born September 29, 1856 and had lived with his daughter for sometime.
Those who survive are five daughters, Mrs. Ben Conkwright, and Mrs. Fern Shafer of this city, Mrs. Rosie Bartlett and Mrs. Bertha Edwards of Attica and Mrs. Lena Roach of Kilburn, Illinois. Mrs. Smith preceded her husband in death.
The funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning at ten o'clock from the Hunt-Ratcliff funeral home on north Grant avenue.
