Surviving her are her mother, Mary Friel; her husband, Arden Buchanan; two daughters, Tana Lam, of Timberville, Virginia, and Melissa Buchanan, of Elkton; two sons, Jessie Buchanan, of Elkton, and Calvin Buchanan, of Shenandoah, Virginia; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held by the Rev. Norman Alderman at VanReenen Funeral Home in Marlinton at 1 p.m. thursday. Burial will be in Mountain Grove, Virginia.
Visitation will be at VanReenen Funeral Home Wednesday night from 6 to 8 p.m.
