HAROLD POULSEN DIES IN HOSPITAL

Harold Poulsen, the eighteen year old son of Mrs. Vera Poulsen and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Brigham Lovell, died Sunday morning in the Delta hospital after a relapse following an illness this winter of flu and complications. He was a member of the senior class of the Delta High School. The services held in the Oak City chapel, Tuesday, April 14, showed the love and respect in which he was held in Oak City by his many friends. Mrs. Zella Lovell read and commented from Harold's Book of Remembrance while in her genealogy class. Mr. Ward Moody, his seminary teacher, spoke. Don L. Anderson, Clifton Alldredge and Maiben Stephenson were also speakers. The choir furnished the music. Special numbers were a duet, "Whispering Hope", by Afton East and Melba Dutson. Duet "Sometime We'll Understand" by Kathryn Anderson and Rebecca Finlinson. A poem read by Ward Moody composed by Mrs. Ben Bunker. His father, Mr. A.L. Poulsen of California, arrived late for the services, but viewed the body and attended the burial service at the cemetery. Many beautiful floral offerings were given in tribute to his memory.
