Eva Mae Braswell Reynolds, 88, of Sylvester, died Saturday, July 23, 2005 at Sylvester Health Care.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. at Isabella Baptist Church, with burial to follow in Isabella Cemetery. The Revs. A. R. Wilburn and Jerry Cooper officiating.
Born in Worth County, Ga on May 7, 1917, Mrs. Reynolds is the daughter of George Alexander Braswell and Mary Edna Chapman Braswell. She has lived in Worth County all of her life. She was Co-owner of Reynolds Grocery Sore in Isabella and Kelly St. Hardware in Sylvester. She served twice as the Worthy Matron and as the secretary for 20 yearsamd was a charter member of Worth Chapter No. 454 Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of Isabella Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and was a also a member of the homemakers Sunday School Class. Mrs. Reynolds was also a member of the W.M.U. She was the widow of M.N. "Nick" Reynolds, who died Octobr 8, 1975.
Survivors include a sister, Ruth Chestnutt of Sylvester; a granddaughter Stacy Alderman (Carry) of Blakely; two grandchildren Carlye and Morgan Alderman; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A daughter preceded Mrs. Reynolds in death; Latrelle Lee in 1983.
