COOS BAY - Private services will be held for Vena Camilla "Cam" Drury Allard of Coos Bay, formerly of McKenzie Bridge, who died Jan. 12 of kidney failure. She was 85.

Allard was born Dec. 22, 1916, in Gold Beach to Willis and Mabel Overton Moore. She married Robert Drury in Reno, Nev., on Dec. 22, 1979. He died Dec. 10, 1994. She married Albert Allard in Eugene on May 17, 1997.

She lived in McKenzie Bridge from 1946 to 1997, when she moved to Coos Bay. She retired from Weyerhaeuser Co. in Springfield and enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and camping. She was an avid hunter, and enjoyed taking her grandchildren deep-sea fishing.

She was a member of the National Rifle Association, the Oregon Hunters Association and McKenzie River Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, John Long of Springfield and Willis Long of Carson City, Nev.; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A son, Joseph, died previously.

Inurnment will be at Sunset Hills Memorial Gardens in Eugene. England's Eugene Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the South Coast Hospice in Coos Bay.
