Son of Hampton Watts and Lenna Sarah Brown Watts.
Born in Rembert Church Comm. Sumter district S.C.

Married his 1st cousin, Rebecca M Watts which was a daughter
of Rufus M. and Rhoda Justine Smith Watts.
They were married; 8 Sept. 1850, Marengo Co. Alabama.

Their daughter named the same was born in 1833 also.

Joined the Confederate States Army March 31, 1862, Palestine
Texas.
Was put in; Co G 1st Texas Infantry.

Battle of Chickamunga.
Battle of Sharpsburg.
Wounded in Sharpsburg and Chickamunga
Taken prisoner at Antitum.
Lost his right arm as a result of Sharpsburg.
I believe he was taken prisoner more than once.
