Flat Rock, AL - Katherine Elease Whited, 75, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011, from storm related injuries.
Mrs. Whited was a member of Owensby Chapel Seventh-day Adventist Church.
She died with her husband, John "Ob" Whited and daughter, Shelba Jean Shannon.
She is survived by sons, Gerald O. Whited (Malana), Higdon, Anthony R. Whited, Flat Rock; brother, Wendell Anderson, Flat Rock; sister, Caryon Anderson, Whitwell; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. CDT, at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Kirkpatrick officiating and burial to follow in Overlook Cemetery. Family will receive friends from noon until service time at the church.
