Flat Rock, AL - Shelby Jean Whited Shannon, 58, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011. She died from storm related injuries with her parents, John and Elease Whited.

Mrs. Shannon was preceded in death by son, Chris Shannon. She is survived by son, Ronnie Shannon, Flat Rock; brothers, Gerald O. Whited (Melana), Higdon, Anthony R. Whited, Flat Rock; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be today at 3 p.m. CDT at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Kirkpatrick officiating and burial to follow in Overlook Cemetery. Family will receive friends from noon until service time at the church.
