Linda Catherine Aelvoet passed away at the age of 58 in the loving presence of her husband, children, siblings and friends on November 1, 2009. Her family is grateful to the Lord for having been blessed with her. Linda was born February 21, 1951, in San Antonio to Eloisa Garnett and William Garnett. She married Gary Aelvoet on September 9, 1972. The couple had a wonderful partnership and Linda described Gary as her best friend and the one who made her laugh. Linda's proudest accomplishment was being a mother and Mimi. Her work ethic was incredible and her fight against cancer, inspiring. Her father William Garnett precedes Linda in death. She is survived by her husband, Gary; mother, Eloisa Garnett; children, Valerie Dove and husband, Edward, Veronica Bordano and husband, Vince, Victoria Calle and husband, Keith; seven grandchildren, Hannah, Cammille, Carli, Emma, Cayden, Luke and Jackson; three siblings, Veronica Jorgensen, Margaret Van Winkle and William Thomas Garnett III. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at Porter Loring Mortuary North. THURSDAY
