Mrs. Bell Rites Planned Today
Funeral services will be conducted in Bay St. Louis, Miss., Saturday for Mrs. John E. Bell Sr., former New Orleans resident and long-time resident of Mississippi, who died Friday in a Gulfport hospital. She was 68.
Services will be conducted from the Christ Episcopal Church in Bay St. Louis. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Riemann Funeral Home of Bay St. Louis.
Mrs. Bell was in the employ of the Medallion Realty in New Orleans at the time of her death.
She and her husband formerly operated the Rickshaw Restaurant and Bell Importing Co. of Gulfport. Mrs. Bell was a native of Senatobia, Miss.
Survivors include her husband; a son, John E. Bell Jr., of Metairie; two brothers, Jason H. Floyd and Dr. Bedford F. Floyd, both of Gulfport, and several grandchildren. (Times-Picayune, The (New Orleans, LA) 1969-03-08, p.: 16)
