A Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War, Joel A. Poole, 78, died Tuesday, March 11, 2003, in Vancouver.
Mr. Poole was born April 12, 1924, in Bend, Ore., and had lived in Vancouver for 33 years. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and member of the Masons and Pythian fraternal organizations.
Survivors include his wife, Marian A., at home; two daughters, Connie A. Bonnell and Cindy M. Topping, both of Vancouver; one sister, Elaine Warner of Milwaukie, Ore.; and two grandchildren.
At his request, there will be no service. Private burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery.
