He married Romayne B. Mendelsohn in 1949. The Kraft 's have two sons, Bruce and Alan. After practicing medicine in New York, the Kraft 's moved to Oklahoma City in 1956. David was Chief of Medicine at Saint Anthony Hospital and served on their foundation. After retiring from private practice, Dr. Kraft taught cardiology students with great passion at the OU Health Sciences Center for almost twenty years.
He is survived by his wife, Romayne; two sons, Bruce and wife, Mary Lu and Alan and wife, Susie; six grandchildren, Caroline, Jonathan, Megan, Bob, Ben, and Clint. He is also survived by his sister, Shirley Mitgang and her husband, Herbert of New York City; and brother-in-law, Daniel Morris of Long Island, New York; and many nieces and nephews He will be greatly missed by his family and loved by the people who knew him.
