Leonard Earl Walton Sr., 60 of Dresden, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at his residence.
Funeral services will at 3 p.m. today at Unity General Baptist Church near Dresden. Burial will be in Unity Cemetery. Bowlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be a 9 a.m. until service time today at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Walton of Dresden; two sons, Leonard (Emily) Walton Jr., and Victor Walton of Dresden; a sister, Brenda Lee Walton of Lenox; three brothers, Bruce Walton, Don Walton, and Daniel Walton, all of Lenox; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Zettie Mae Riley Walton; a daughter, Betty Jean McElroy; a brother, William Walton, Jr.; and a sister, Syble Pilkenton.
