Medfield marriages: BULLIN, John and Judith Fisher, Jan. 3, 1683-4.*

Medfield deaths: BULLEN, John, Ens., h. Judith, Nov. 18, 1703.

Parents: Samuel Bullen & Mary Morse, were married the 10 of the 6 mo. 1641 Dedham.

From Samuel Bullen and Some of His Descendants, compiled by May Philipps Train and sent to me by contributor Candyce Fulford. Mrs. Train wrote the manuscript for her small daughter, Jane Bullen Train, 'who wished to know who the Bullens were' in 1941.

John, the fourth child and second son of Samuel and Mary (Morse) Bullen born in Medfield, Norfolk County, Province of Massachusetts Bay "John, born probably about 1648, married Judith Fisher on January 3, 1684. She was born in June 1663. He was a house-wright by trade. His home stood in the north part of town. He had a grant of land in 1677 and probably built his house soon after. He served as Selectman in 1689 and 1699. A leaf in one "John Marshall's Diary" states "1702 - November 28th - death of Ensign John Bullen of Medfield - while felling a tree." Judith, his wife, died January 9th 1753. They had
seven children."
