Debra P. Riley, age 58, passed away on April 25, 2011 at home. She was born on Oct. 9, 1952 in Hartford, CT. She was a daughter of the late Clifford J. and Viola C. (Mason) Riley. Debra was an avid collector of miniature houses. She worked as a longtime employee at Westfield State University. Her career began with the division of Graduate and Continuing Education and then to the Human Resources office where she processed payroll. Lastly she moved to the Facilities and Operations department, where she continued to process payroll for several campus departments. She leaves her brother Thimothy Riley of FL; 2 sisters Gloria Leander of Enfield, CT and Rita Blanchett of North Carolina. She was an aunt to JoAnn Demers and her husband Robert of Springfield, a Great Aunt to Robert Jr., Heather-Ann Dow and Stephanie Demers along with many other nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers Clifford Riley Jr. and Bernard Riley as well as her sisters Marilyn Morrow and Patricia Korona. A private burial will be held at St Patricks Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association , P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312. The Grise Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
