Death of Mrs. John Pettit
The Lafayette Dispates of yesterday has the following in reference to the death of Mrs. Abigal Petit, relict of the late Judge John Petit, died at the residence of her son No. 87 north Eighth street. Mrs. Petit was born in Greenville District, South Carolina, in October 1807.
1832 in December of the same year was married to the late Judge Petit.
The funeral will take place tomorrow at two o'clock from the residence of her son. Rev. Mr. Cary will deliver the funeral address, after which he remains will be interred in Springvale cemetery. [Greenbush]
