Andrew Babineau, shooting with intent to murder. This case is of recent occurence. Babineau and Leonce Duplechain were neighbors. an enmity arose between them over a lane. They carried guns for each other. The shooting occurred near Babineau's blacksmith shop, and the latter claims that Duplechain shot at him first

NOTE: These two above named were double in-laws.

1) André "Andrew" Babineau/Babineaux's daughter, Andrea Babineaux, was married to Leonce Duplechain's son, Joseph Mentor Duplechin.
