COMMUNITY GREATLY SHOCKED IN DEATH OF MRS. HARRY CRAIG
The community was greatly grieved and shocked yesterday morning to learn that the angel of death had stolen into the city and taken from the midst of her family Mrs. Harry Craig, who had been in a very critical condition for the past week. The blow that falls on the heart-broken husband and motherless little ones is such as to bring to them the deepest sympathy of the entire community in their irreparable loss. The death of Mrs. Craig removes one of the highest esteemed ladies, who since her residence in this city has won many warm friends by her many pleasing ways and kindly dealing with all those whom she came in contact with.
Coming here two years ago to make this city their home, Mr. and Mrs. Craig have formed many warm friendships and the death of the estimable lady cannot but bring to these friends a sense of the deepest sorrow and grief in the loss that they have sustained in her passing. While death is always a time of greatest grief it is particularly so in this case, as the little children of tender years and the little babe of only a week old must want the loving care which a mother's love alone can give. Such a bereavement as this brings the greatest regret to everyone in the city and the family will share their sorrow with everyone who had the pleasure of knowing this estimable lady.

THE FUNERAL OF MRS. HARRY CRAIG HELD YESTERDAY
The funeral of the late Mrs. Harry Craig was held yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the home and was attended by the sorrowing relatives and friends and neighbors who gathered to pay their tribute to the memory of this good woman. Rev. H.G. McClusky, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, who spoke words of comfort to the bereaved family, and friends who are mourning the loss of the wife, daughter, and mother. The body was laid to rest in Oak Hill cemetery.
Emma Moore was born on a farm in the eastern part of Otoe county, Nebraska, on November 12, 1891, where her parents, W.H. Moore and wife, Mrs. Emma Cowles Moore, were residing. When she was only 7 years of age the family moved to Lincoln, Neb., where she received her education. On March 5, 1911, she was united in marriage to Harry Craig. For a few years they made their home in Lincoln, coming to Plattsmouth two years ago, where the family have since made their home. Mrs. Craig leaves besides the husband to mourn her death three little children, Edith, aged 3 years, Jessie, aged 2 and a little son, born February 26th.

CARD OF THANKS
We take this method of returning our heartfelt thanks to our many friends for their sympathy shown at the death of our beloved wife or mother, daughter and sister, and especially to the neighbors and members of the base ball team and Burlington shop employes [sic] for their kindness and sympathy in our hour of sorrow. May they be dealt with in the same spirit in their hour of grief.
