Born in 1927 to Merle and Lois (Woodward) Houghwot and had eight brothers and sisters.
Mom was a very loving woman and was constantly surrounded by friends and family. She was an extremely strong willed lady, who, dispite being disabled since her early teens, worked hard all her life raising four children and helping to raise many grandchildren, neices and nephews. Known as "Grandma Jean" or "Aunt Jean" to the neighborhood kids, and Friend to all, she is deeply missed in our homes, but always with us in our hearts and memories.
