Brian Meyer, 30, tragically left us on Saturday, April 23rd 2011. He was born in West Haven, CT. Brian attended Cooperative Arts and Humanities High School in New Haven CT and served in the United States Army. Brian was incredibly creative, both a musician and an artist. He was a kind and gentle soul, who was enormously intelligent and funny. His wit was sharp, and he enjoyed debating with those who could stand the heat. He will be profoundly and grievously missed by his family and friends. Brian is survived by his parents, Nancy and Lee Meyer of Trumbull, CT; brothers Paul and Steve; grandparents Vincent and Corinne Nitido of West Haven, and Burt Meyer of Downers Grove, IL; aunts and uncles Mary and Jamie Horvath of Woodbridge, Diane and Jim Egan also of Woodbridge, Vincent and Laurie Nitido of Tucson, AZ, Thomas Nitido and Wendy Saunders of Albany, NY, Richard and Kelly Nitido of Fresno, CA, Steve and Gile Meyer of Luthersville, MD and Sheryl Mugnaini of Brighton, England; and many cousins, including Michael and Robert Nitido. He was predeceased by his grandmother Marcia Meyer of Downers Grove, IL. He is also survived by his father Brian McPartland of Branford, CT, brother Jake McPartland and sister Keeley McPartland; grandparents James and Joan McPartland of Branford; Uncle James McPartland of Fairfield and Aunt Judy Oquendo of Branford. A remembrance and celebration of Brian's life as held at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Greater Bridgeport, 96 Chapel Street, Stratford, CT.
