Funeral Will Be Held At Day-Carter & Roach Elmwood Chapel At 2 P. M. Sunday Miss Manie Adamson, 53 years old, native of Springville, died Friday afternoon at Cragmont Hospital in North Madison, where she was being treated. The body was brought to the Day-Carter and Roach funeral Home here late last night for burial preparation and will lie in state there until the funeral, arranged for 2 p.m. Sunday at the Day-Carter and Roach Elmwood Chapel with the Rev, Loren Rains, pastor of the Bedford Church of Christ, of which she was a member, officiating. Burial will be made in the Christian cemetery at Springville. The deceased was born to Sentney and Emma Short Adamson December 29, 1883. She was never married. Survivors are two brothers, Bert Adamson, Bedford, and Elbert. (Daily Times Mail - Sat., July 17, 1937)
