Freda was born June 29, 1915 at Gervais, Oregon to Frank and Theresa Ditrich- Prantl.
She grew up in Gervais. At one time in her life she worked at a cannery in West Salem. She was very involved with Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Using her craft talent, she made Rosary's and enjoyed playing bingo.
She belonged to the St. Rita Alter Society.
She in survived by her two daughters, Marlene Tesch of Gervais , Pat Hupp of Silverton and a brother Carl Prantl of Gervais; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded by her son, Donovan Roosa and three granddaughters; Christina, Amanda and Diana Tesch.
Visitation Fri. April 29 from 1-5 PM at Cornwell Colonial Chapel- Woodburn. Rosary Sat. April 30 at 10:15 followed by Mass at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Gervais. Interment at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements by Cornwell Colonial Chapel.
