She was born Oct. 23, 1922, in Crawford County, to Otto C. and A. Velma (Brown) Luidhardt. She married Paul E. Winters July 15, 1944, and he preceded her in death Nov. 26, 1971.
Survivors include her son, Michael E. (Lynn) Winters of Evans, Georgia; a daughter, Debra K. (Richard) Hohman of Tiffin; a sister, Ruth Boyer of Tiffin; and three grandchildren, Nichol Hohman, Ryan Hohman and Michael Winters Jr.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Sharon Ann Winters; a brother, Carl Luidhardt; a sister, Miriam Reed; and a grandson, Tommy Winters.
Kate retired in 1987 from Jack H. Payne & Associates and was an active member of First Lutheran Church, Piece Corp. Sewing Group in the church, X-Y Club and volunteered in the gift shop in Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital.
Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery
