KEELE, WILLIAM T. (TOM) - age 88, of Sweetwater, passed away Friday, May 25, 2001, at Sweetwater Hospital. He served as a deacon at Christianburg Baptist Church. He was a World War II Veteran. Preceded in death by his parents, George R. and Rosa M. Keele; sisters, Mary Williams, Virginia Stout, and Bessie Mae Francis. Survivors: sister-in-law and spouse, Polly and J. W. Starnes of Sweetwater; brothers, James (Jim) Keele of Sweetwater and Henry Keele of Cresent, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews. The body is at Kyker Funeral Home, Sweetwater, where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, May 26. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 27, in Kyker's Chapel with the interment to follow at Christianburg Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Darrell Cardin and Rev. Freddie Crabtree officiating.
