Excerpt -- Mrs. Alice Lee Shriver, 75 years old, mother of Dennis Shrive, Lloyd L. Shriver, died last night at the home of her daughters, Miss Elizabeth Shriver and Mrs. Hester Henderson of Lincoln street following a three month illness. Mrs. Shriver was born in Taylor County on Oct. 18, 1867, a daughter of the late Abraham and Elizabeth Hume Keener. Her husband, Thomas Shriver, died in 1907. Survivors include two sons, Lloyd L. Shriver, former superintendent of schools of Taylor County and a former member of house of delegates; Ned Shriver of Grafton; two daughters, Mrs. Herbert Henderson and Miss. Elizabeth Shriver, both of Grafton; one brother, John A. Keener of Pruntytown, and one sister, Mrs. George Jones, also of Pruntytown; two grandchildren, Lloyd L. Shriver, Jr., and Alice Isabelle Henderson. Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Thursday morning. Burial will follow in the Wiseman Cemetery.
