Funeral services for Mrs. Frank (Lula Wagoner) Owens, 76, of Cypress Community, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cypress Baptist Church, with the Rev. Louie Rambin and George Bonner officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of West Monroe. The body will lie in state at the funeral home until 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Mrs. Owens died Monday afternoon at St. Francis Hospital after a brief illness.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Ouachita Parish. She was a member of the Cypress Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Oswald Owens of Zachary, Lamar Owens and Bennie Owens, both of West Monroe; four daughters, Mrs. James (Marjorie) Gard of Overland Park, Kan., Mrs. J. C. (Edna Mae) McGrew, Mrs. Wayne (Emma Lou) Bush and Mrs. W. W. (Willie) Lovett, all of West Monroe; two brothers, C. P. Wagoner of West Monroe and M. E. "Bud" Wagoner of Winnfield; one sister, Mrs. Johanna Whitlock of West Monroe; 22 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
